Performs entry-level work. Work involves utilizing physical labor to assist in water and wastewater repairs, replacement, excavation, meter installation and taps. Operating equipment associated with maintenance and construction of water and sewer main projects. Maintaining and operating the Citys wastewater treatment plant system in a safe, effective, and efficient manner, using technical expertise that follows generally accepted practices and procedures. Workers must be able to be scheduled for on-call rotation. This position is subject to DOT random drug testing. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Essential Duties & Required Qualifications Required Education and Experience.
