Warehouse Associate

Are you seeking a stable role with a great schedule (Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm) in the Pflugerville area? Would you appreciate working on a small team but as part of a large, nationwide company? Join us as a Warehouse Associate! This position is responsible for specialized warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift operation, fabrication, and counter work, or may have a generalized role working in all departments. You will be part of a small team of 5-7 individuals, assisting in different areas as needed. Eventually, you may also make deliveries to customer job sites while adhering to all safety procedures, loading inventory on trucks, and unloading at customer sites if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.
• Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock.
• Maintain the condition of the work area (i.e., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.).
• Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

• 1+ year of recent forklift operation experience.
• 1+ year of experience working within a warehouse environment.
• Positive attitude.
• Current valid Driver's License and clear MVR check to drive a company vehicle in the future.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Computer skills / experience within an ERP system.
• Experience with, or interest in, driving a box truck to make deliveries.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
