FOH Shift Lead

We are looking for a motivated Shift Leader for Ramen Tatsu-Ya to oversee daily operations during designated shifts, supervise employees, and ensure that our customers receive outstanding service. This is a tipped position plus the hourly wage.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the training of the front of house staff members to meet the specific needs of the restaurant
  • Supervise upkeep of guest areas by directing staff to attend to messes or accidents, as well as personally assisting in cleanup
  • Ability to direct staff to handle unexpected situations and customer concerns throughout a shift as needed
  • Delegating tasks
  • Handling closing cash duties
  • Reporting any issues to the General Manager

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be 18+ years of age to work at a Tatsu-Ya location
  • A Lead should be able to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
  • Toast knowledge is preferred but not required

Experience:
  • Previous experience as a server or lead preferred
  • Must successfully complete state required certifications

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
