Must Have:

• 3 to 7 years of hands-on construction scheduling experience, with a demonstrated track record of independently developing, baselining, and maintaining CPM schedules on active projects.

• Oracle Primavera P6 Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled mid-level Project Scheduler to join our growing Construction Management team. This role is central to how we plan, execute, and communicate project performance. Our Project Schedulers are not passive document keepers; they are active contributors who shape how projects are sequenced, how delays are identified and addressed, and how schedule health is communicated to owners and project teams alike.

The ideal candidate brings a strong command of Primavera P6, a solid understanding of CPM scheduling theory, and the practical field awareness to build schedules that are logical, constructible, and contract-compliant. In this role you will:

• Develop project baseline schedules from scratch using CPM methodology in Primavera P6; build complete logic networks including activity sequencing, durations, dependencies, constraints, and milestone definitions.

• Establish and implement a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned with the project scope, contract requirements, and cost coding structure.

• Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules where required; assign labor, equipment, and material resources to activities and validate loading against project budgets and production rates.

• Coordinate with the project manager, superintendent, estimator, and subcontractors during schedule development to validate logic, confirm durations, and ensure the baseline reflects a realistic and achievable execution plan.

• Prepare and submit baseline schedules for owner and contract review; address review comments, obtain formal acceptance, and execute the approved baseline in P6.

• Develop and maintain project-specific scheduling procedures in compliance with contract requirements, including schedule narrative formats, update frequencies, and reporting deliverables.

• Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master project schedule; review submitted schedules for logic, completeness, and conformance with contract requirements before incorporation.

• Build procurement and submittal schedules integrated with the master schedule to protect critical long-lead material and equipment delivery dates.

Requirements (Preferred):

• Oracle Primavera P6 Professional Certification.

• AACE International: Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP).

• PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 Professional required; candidates must be able to independently build, baseline, update, and analyze project schedules.

• Demonstrated ability to set up P6 project structures including WBS, OBS, activity codes, calendars, and resource dictionaries.

• Experience with cost and resource loading in P6; ability to generate standard P6 reports and customize layouts for project-specific reporting needs.

• Familiarity with P6 EPPM (web-based) is a plus; experience using P6 in a multi-user enterprise environment is beneficial.

• Microsoft Project proficiency is a plus; ability to receive, convert, and cross-reference MS Project schedules from subcontractors or design teams.
