Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and personally assist clients according to their care plan which may include:
· Support/personally assist the client to ensure comfortability in their place of residence
· Helping w/ non-medical tasks that include but are not limited to the following
o Meal Preparation
o Bathing
o Body Care
o Toiling
o Dressing
o Feeding
o Medication Reminders
o Light - extensive housekeeping at the client's request
o Transportation as needed
o Shopping
o Ambulation
o Positioning and transferring
o Assist with toileting
o Protective supervision
Minimum Requirements:
· Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
· Must have available/reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.
· Must be available to work a flexible schedule, a minimum of three shifts per work week, up to 12 hours per shift, between 7/8 am through 7/8 pm
Part Time/Full-time work is available
· Provide social companionship by providing Life Enrichment Support such as exercising. Encourage water intake for hydration and more
· Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
· Must exhibit mature, responsible behavior, caring, punctual and reliability.
· Have verifiable professional references.
· Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by state).
· Notify the Client Service Director of client concerns, changes in care or client condition and client emergencies.
*CNA is a plus; but not required.
