NeuroTech Research Manager

Austin, TX | Full-time | Onsite

A venture-backed neurotechnology company is building a next-generation, multimodal biosensing platform designed to measurably improve human performance in real-world environments.

We are looking for someone who lives in EEG, hardware validation, and human subject research.

You will work directly with engineering and product teams to ensure biosignals are reliable, repeatable, and deployment-ready.

What You'll Do

  • Run hands-on human-subject EEG sessions
  • Own electrode placement, setup, and signal quality validation
  • Diagnose artifacts, instability, and drift in real time
  • Evaluate multimodal biosignals (EEG, PPG, IMU, etc.)
  • Support hardware iteration cycles (EVT ? DVT)
  • Execute internal validation and feasibility studies
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for hardware and product teams
  • Maintain rigorous documentation to support external credibility

What We're Looking For

  • PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Direct experience running human-subject EEG studies
  • Comfortable handling electrode setup and troubleshooting signal quality
  • Strong understanding of signal artifacts and multimodal integration
  • Experience working alongside hardware and software teams
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, build-stage environment
  • Comfortable being hands-on in the lab

Bonus if you have experience with:

  • Dry EEG systems
  • Neurofeedback or closed-loop systems
  • VR-based research environments
  • Multimodal biosensing platforms
