Position Details (Field Service Engineer)

• Location: Austin, TX
• Pay: $35–40/hr+ (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday regular shift. Lots of OT available.
• Travel: High Travel (50+% being away from home)
• Environment: Cleanroom setting
• Benefits: Full health, dental, vision, 401K

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites
• Conduct preventive maintenance and system diagnostics to minimize downtime and improve tool performance
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
• Replace defective components and ensure proper system functionality
• Support equipment relocations, upgrades, and process improvements
• Work in confined cleanroom environments while following all safety and compliance standards
• Collaborate with senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and system updates
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally
• Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) and continuous learning to stay current on equipment and processes
• Execute assigned tasks with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
