Skimmer is looking for an AI-forward creative developer for our growth and go-to-market development team. You will be responsible for improving our customers' experience inside the Skimmer app, mainly targeted at new user sign‑up, billing, and getting started. You will report into theR&D/Development organization and partner cross‑functionally with stakeholders such as Finance, Customer Success, and Support.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal technical expert on Skimmer subscriptions through Stripe.
• Help make the subscription process more flexible and efficient by improving the Skimmer app to take advantage of Stripe features.
• Assist in vendor selection to solve challenges as they arise.
• Create APIs and systems to help customers onboard faster and unlock their own productivity.
• Understand the key metrics for user adoption.
• Implement A/B testing on workflows to understand what works for our customers.

Early Projects (First 90 Days)

• Enable Stripe's free trial workflow.
• Take greater advantage of Stripe's new user workflow to unlock additional sales workflows.
• Implement Stripe's metered billing to better track usage.

Experience Required

• Built API integrations for SaaS, ideally vertical SaaS, products.
• Comfortable developing in C#.
• Proficient with Microsoft SQL.
• Proven expertise with Stripe; ideally Stripe subscriptions.
• An eye for detail and willingness to experiment to find the right solution.
• Enough overall business understanding to advise on the implications of technical decisions and direct teams towards optimal results.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ) and a track record of leading successful cross‑functional projects.
• Ideal candidates will have an understanding of tax and accounting relating to software subscriptions.
