A renowned multi-concept restaurant group is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine for a high-profile, upscale dining concept in Austin, TX. About the Role

As Chef de Cuisine, you'll lead BOH operations from the ground up — owning the opening shift process, food ordering, inventory management, and menu execution. You'll partner closely with restaurant leadership to drive consistency, develop your team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage all BOH operations including food prep, cooking, and inventory control
  • Track and control food costs; manage daily product ordering and receiving
  • Conduct regular line checks to ensure quality and consistency
  • Partner with management to develop prep lists and assign production duties
  • Collaborate on menu development and recipe book maintenance
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop kitchen staff
  • Ensure seamless FOH/BOH communication on timing, specials, and needs

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of Chef de Cuisine experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire kitchen teams
  • Strong command of BOH systems and food cost management

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000 – $90,000/year + quarterly bonus
