Position: Associate Attorney

Experience: 1 – 6 years

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist in case preparation, including document review and witness interviews
• Participate in court hearings, depositions, and trials under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Manage client communications, develop personalized client relationships, and maintain case files
• Contribute to business development efforts and firm marketing initiatives

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Top 25% of law school class
• Active membership in the Texas State Bar
• 1-5 years of litigation experience preferably in a law firm setting
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities
• Familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Evidence, and local court rules

Preferred Skills

• Experience in personal injury litigation and business and commercial litigation
• Superior legal writing, research, and drafting skills
• Proficiency in legal research (WestLaw/Lexis) and case management software
• Law journal experience

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
