Job Title – Incident Response Manager (04B3S)You'll be a part of bringing humanity to business by leading incident response and vulnerability management for federal clients. This remote role in the United States involves working with the Information Security team, consulting on new projects, and ensuring compliance with NIST RMF and FedRAMP.What You'll be DoingSupport the compliance lifecycle needs of existing federal clients, consult on new projects, and provide vulnerability‑management services to project teams and stakeholders.During a Typical Day You'llLead Incident Orchestration efforts, coordinating containment, eradication, and recovery across technical teams.Manage and mentor a high‑performing Incident Response and Security Analyst team.Develop, maintain, and improve the Incident Response Plan (IRP) and detailed playbooks for threat scenarios such as ransomware, phishing, insider threat, and third‑party incidents.Design and facilitate tabletop and simulation exercises to validate response procedures.Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable communications for legal, HR, PR, executive leadership, and client stakeholders.Conduct post‑incident reviews to assess root cause, response effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.Configure and execute vulnerability scans of FedRAMP‑authorized environments, analyze results, and lead remediation discussions.Prepare, validate, and maintain security and compliance documentation, including SSP, RA, CP, PIA, and FIPS categorizations.Provide end‑to‑end security lifecycle support for major applications supporting federal clients.Advise internal and client teams on remediation of security and privacy weaknesses.Prepare and deliver security and privacy awareness training.Track and manage POA&Ms, driving corrective action plans through remediation and closure.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support SA&A / C&A activities, audits, and continuous monitoring efforts.What You Bring to the Role3+ years of experience in federal government information security and privacy, providing direct support to project teams and client stakeholders.7+ years in cybersecurity with 4+ years of hands‑on experience with industry‑standard vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7.Perform vulnerability assessments, conduct research, and evaluate risks.Write runbooks to assist junior‑level engineers and team members on incident responses.Self‑directed in complex vulnerability situations requiring deep troubleshooting.Maintain solid communication with key stakeholders, including progress updates and expectation setting.Participate in or lead security assessments and audits; experience with PHI, PII in federal healthcare programs, and PCI DSS.Prepare security documentation, evaluate and document security and privacy controls, and complete non‑technical analysis activities.Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53 Rev 4 (or 800‑171), or agency equivalent.Nice To HaveExperience with common penetration tools/frameworks.Bash and/or Python scripting and building API‑based integrations.What You Can ExpectThis is a 100% work‑from‑home position.A supportive company and team focused on career development.An inclusive culture that encourages giving back.A global team guided by company values.Paid time off along with wellness and healthcare benefits.A competitive compensation package and performance bonus opportunities, including tuition reimbursement.Visit TTEC Benefits for U.S. Employees for more information.The anticipated range is $120,000‑140,000.
