Position: Field Service Engineer

Location: Taylor, Texas (Travel Required)

Duration: 2 year contract

Pay Rate: $28 an hour(All Travel/Logging paid for + $440 a week in per diem)

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting an OEM within the semiconductor industry

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers to support leading equipment manufacturers within the semiconductor industry. These individuals will be a part of a team responsible for installation and qualification of this equipment. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll work in a cleanroom environment performing on-site installation, troubleshooting , service, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Being detail oriented is a must for this team as these toolsets are complex and need to be carefully built in order to ensure they function properly when power gets turned on for the tool. Although not immediate this role can have up to 90% travel and the individual selected to join the team must be flexible to meet any travel request in order to support the install schedule.
