This involves working with internal development teams and external suppliers and development partners to develop innovative mechanical solutions for PCs, particularly notebooks, using leading-edge engineering software, tools and processes. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the products meet design targets in areas such as quality, feature set, cost, schedule, reliability, acoustics, regulatory and safety. The mechanical architect will be responsible for mechanical architecture, component and system-level specifications, creating and directing CAD models, in will:- Provide technical expertise and engineering leadership to influence future mobile product design, with a strong focus on the front-end design cycle- Collaborate with Marketing and internal teams to define product requirements and generate customer-focused design concepts- Lead cross-functional technical decisions across industrial design, usability, quality, and reliability domains- Develop and communicate design concepts using 3D CAD tools, and direct d
