Job Details

Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zone. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Load, unload, or identify building materials, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed. Manual dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using a variety of power and hand tools. Tend to pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment or to heat or move materials, such as dirt, gravel and asphalt. Cleans tools, equipment, and work areas. Knowledgeable about and follow the companys safety policies and procedures as described in the companys safety manual. Qualifications Six months of work experience in construction or related field.
