Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with proven experience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with14offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.ResponsibilitiesPrepare plans, reports, and studies for review Direct technicians and EIT's for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficientlyInterface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project ManagersVisit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specificationsResearch design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documentsMentor others in the proficient use of design softwareReview and approve structural designs for quality and code complianceProvide guidance on complex design issuesLead design teams, including EIT, technicians, and other licensed engineers on large or complex projectsManage design effort including planning hours for members of the structural project teamActive involvement in development of EITs and mid-level engineersManage project health including fees, schedule and hours for their projectsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) licenseAbility to use Revit/BIMMinimum15 years of structural building design experience in a consulting roleBenefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
