Performs entry-level workrepairing and maintaining the Citys buildings and facilities. Generally, this position uses routine skills and works under close supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Essential Duties & Required Qualifications Perform repair and maintenance of City buildings and facilities to include but not limited, plumbing, minor electrical work, wall repair, flooring, painting, and HVAC. Climb ladders, access roofs, enter attics. Move and assemble furniture when needed. Escalate customer complaints to the department manager,Oversee maintenance of tools, equipment, and the work truck to ensure they are kept in good and safe working conditions. Make minor adjustments or remove the equipment from service until proper repairs are made. Change HVAC filters and clean outside condensing units in all City facilities. Ductless mini split cleaning.
