Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment to generate diagnostic and therapeutic images for physicians. Minimum Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology, radiologic technology, or related field. Current state Radiologic Technologist credential as required by Texas (Texas Medical RT Certification Program). Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine specialization). BLS Provider certification. Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a nuclear medicine technologist. Required experience operating Siemens Symbia nuclear medicine equipment. Experience ordering, preparing, administering, and disposing of radiopharmaceuticals according to safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to work independently as the sole technologist on shift, exercise critical thinking, and make decisive judgments under stress while following radiation safety guidelines and Standard Precautions. Preferred Qualifications Prior hospital-based nuclear medicine experience in a 24/7 clinical environment. Experience with PACS submission workflows and troubleshooting imaging equipment malfunctions. Assignment Details Shift hours: 07:00–15:30. Shift schedule: Days. Must be capable of functioning independently as the sole technologist on shift.
