Automation & Controls Engineer (Round Rock, TX)

This is a great opportunity to work for an established startup with over $200million in funding. They are looking to hire an Automation & Controls Engineer to design and implement automation such as materials handling, pick-and-place and conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

• Design of Automation Systems including materials handling and conveyor systems
• Controls integration working with PLC and SCADA systems including motion control, machine vision, actuators and sensors
• Developing Test Plans to confirm functionality and reliability
• PLC Programming and Troubleshooting
• Working on controls and software requirements and troubleshooting automated systems

Qualifications

• BS in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Strong experience working with Automation & Controls equipment
• Experience working with PLC's (ideally Beckhoff, Mitsubishi or Omron)
• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment working on Process Control and Automation
