Job Description

We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Provider Enrollment Specialists to support Medicaid provider enrollment and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will interact professionally with healthcare providers and ancillary staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of provider enrollment applications and maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Process assigned provider enrollment applications and maintenance requests to completion while meeting daily productivity targets.
• Review applications for completeness and accuracy in accordance with documented work instructions.
• Identify application deficiencies and communicate corrections required to providers.
• Revise deficiencies and implement corrections identified through QA audits.
• Respond to provider inquiries regarding application status and enrollment processes.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
• Adhere to Quality Assurance standards and maintain minimum quality scores.
• Research and contact providers by phone to resolve enrollment deficiencies.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Support additional tasks assigned by leadership.
• Flexibility to work overtime based on business and production needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience in healthcare provider enrollment and credentialing.
• At least 1 year of customer service, data entry, or related experience.
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking in processing enrollments.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Willingness to learn multiple enrollment types and processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Medicaid programs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare documentation standards.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
