We'd love to have you as a shareholder!YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The Senior Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer is responsible supporting Procurement in the implementation and execution of Procurement Supplier Quality Inspections and audits.WHAT YOU'LL DO: Perform quality assurance and quality control shop inspections and audits to ensure critical materials and engineered equipment purchased meet or exceed our customer's and contract quality and workmanship expectationsThe Inspector will assist in ensuring the subcontracts or corporate agreements for good and services meet Rosendin Procurement quality standards and customer's expectationsRequire a working understanding of Rosendin electrical equipment and materials related to fabrication, testing, and functionalityBe able to read and understand equipment specifications, drawings, providefeedback in regard to recommended supplier testing and inspectionsReport to management and Project personnel about manufacturing problems, andassist in identifying and correcting these problemsCommunicate inspection and audit results, both verbally and written, and recommendnecessary corrective actionsHave a thorough knowledge of Procurement quality procedures, documents, andreporting structuresAssist Rosendin Procurement in Supplier/Subcontractor prequalification by providinginput on the fabricator's quality program by performing supplier audits/assessments.Provide support to Divisions and projects in overseeing fabricator and subcontractorquality as neededReview Supplier/Subcontractor Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and assist in developing corrective action plans. Coordinate with Quality Managers to approve final disposition and sign offNCR'sProvide input to Rosendin Procurement in rating the overall quality performance ofsuppliers and subcontractorsHighly skilled and experienced in written and verbal communications to includeleading pre-fabrication meetings, creating pre-fabrication checklists, writinginspection/audit reportsPerform other duties as assignedWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Broad working knowledge of all design/craft disciplines and engineered equipment/materials associated with renewable energy and electrical projects and must be familiar with their special processes, inspection, and testing techniquesBroad working knowledge of the following:Transformers: Power (oil filled and dry type), Distribution ( LV dry-type), and IsolationSwitchgear: MV/LV switchgear, metal-clad, metal-enclosed, gas insulated (GIS, Busway, Panelboards, Circuit breakersUPS: static switches, PDU, InvertersGeneratorsBESS and PV inverter modulesWire and cable: DC feeder, MV cable, MCM, Wire harness,Must be familiar with electrical procurement and vendor surveillance procedures as well as working knowledge of construction industry codes and standards related to the manufacture and testing of electrical components/systems such as IEEE, IECC, NEC, NFPA, NESC, IBC, IFC, etc.)Be detail-orientedEffective time management and organizational skills,Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, andMust be team player but able to work independently, to meet intense deadlines, goals and objectivesWHAT YOU BRING TO US: 7+ years of professional supplier experience5+ years of professional supplier quality experience and 2-year associate's degree in electrical technology3+ years of professional supplier quality experience and 4-year bachelor's degree in electrical engineeringAPI SIEE Certification preferredISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification preferredTRAVEL:The position may require up to 85% travel and may require occasional travel outside of the USAWORKING CONDITIONS: General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
