RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Austin, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide hands-on support for end users across desktop, mobile, and application environments. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (iOS)
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
* Serve as a primary point of contact for technical support requests
* Deliver both onsite and remote support to end users
* Support audio/video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Meet)
* Assist with equipment setup, moves, and installations
* Perform onboarding/offboarding support tasks
* Document processes and maintain ticketing system updates
* Identify and escalate recurring issues or potential outages
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of IT support experience in an enterprise environment
* Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
* Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and mobile device support
* Familiarity with Active Directory and basic system administration
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and common business applications
* Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
