The Amenities Attendant is responsible for the general supervision of an amenity floor in a luxury apartment building in downtown Austin, TX. This includes the fitness center, spa/wellness space, outdoor pool and indoor lounge and club room. This is a part time position, 16-24 hours per week betweenthe hours of 6am and 10pm. First shift is 6am - 2pm, second shift is 2pm-10pm.Great opportunity for a Summer job- close to UT campus. Flexibility within scheduled shift times.Responsibilities:* Sets-up, maintains and cleans fitness equipment* Tends to fitness and spa towel service* Tends to pool and fitness towel service* Maintains spa cold plunges* Tends to espresso machines* Straightens pool furniture* Welcomes guests, explains programs and activities in building* Reports and resolves complaints* Maintains attendance records and ensures rules and regulations are enforced in a tactful manner* Is timely and punctual when reporting to work.* Attend all scheduled training and meetings as required.* Ensure the desk and surrounding area is safe, clean and orderly.* Other duties as assignedQualifications:* High School diploma or GED* At least 6 months of experience working in a hospitality or recreation venue.* A strong work ethic* Must exhibit organizational and time management skills* Ability to work independently, ability to show initiative and make decisions* Excellent customer service skills* Professional manner, discretion, and appearance* Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards job and facility.* Must be able to troubleshoot and anticipate problems.* Ability to stand for long periods* Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury* This position required the ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and talk* The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms* Ability to lift 25 lbs.* Normal work hours: varied to include nights, weekends, and holidaysArch Amenities Group is an equal employment opportunity employer that is committed to having a diverse work force.
