Bartender/Cashier

We are looking for a dynamic and versatile team member to join our front-of-house staff in a hybrid Bartender/Cashier role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves guest interaction, and excels at both crafting drinks andhandling transactions with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Bartending Duties

• Craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with expertise and creativity.
• Make drink recommendations tailored to guest preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar that complies with health and safety standards.
• Verify the age of patrons to enforce legal drinking age policies.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
• Provide engaging and knowledgeable responses to guest inquiries about beverage offerings.

Cashiering Duties

• Greet guests warmly and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
• Operate POS systems, registers, printers, and scanners with accuracy.
• Accept payments, issue receipts, make change, and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Assist customers with machine operation or technical difficulties as needed.
• Provide regular reports to management and assist with promotional campaigns.
• Run errands or assist with miscellaneous tasks as requested during down time.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid TABC certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in bartending and/or cashiering preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking.
• Ability to stand for 6–8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual (especially in Spanish) is a strong plus.
