Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Austin, Texas The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist for a clinical assignment within the Peripherals, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Biopsy, and Structural Heart unit. This role involves performing diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures, ensuring radiation safety, and supporting patient care throughout the process. Job Details Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL TECH) or equivalent, relevant educational background, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in perioperative or cardiovascular radiography. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with cardiac catheterization procedures involving peripherals, DVT, LHC, RHC, biopsies, and structural heart interventions is highly desirable. Additional Information: Responsibilities include preparing patients, administering contrast media, performing complex imaging, maintaining sterile environments, and documenting procedures and radiation exposure. The technologist must respond to emergencies, support equipment maintenance, coordinate procedure scheduling, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patients.
