Health, dental, and vision coverage begin on day oneCertification in reading instruction required (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, CERI, LETRS, or equivalent)The greatest support you can offer a gifted six-year-old reading at grade level is to refuse to let them plateau there. If you hold structured literacy credentials and have witnessed how phonics-based methods unlock early readers, consider what becomes possible when you direct those techniques toward children who aren't behind—they're simply unchallenged. The result isn't incremental growth. They accelerate 5-10x.At gt.school, you finally deploy your complete skill set. No basal readers. No mandated district sequences. You facilitate small-group early literacy sessions for gifted 5-8-year-olds, conduct running records, create your own differentiated groups, and build each lesson from the data in front of you. Adaptive software manages content delivery. Your role is what no application can replicate: guiding a small cohort of exceptional students to surpass benchmarks they weren't expected to reach this year.100% of your students achieve their adaptive software targets. Over 90% give you top ratings in surveys. This is the outcome when a certified literacy specialist works with small groups of gifted learners and removes all barriers. You'll observe first graders who entered at grade level begin consuming chapter books. That's the kind of transformation most literacy professionals spend an entire career hoping to witness once. What You Will Be DoingFacilitating small-group phonics sessions for gifted K-2 learners, with each lesson constructed from student data rather than a scripted programConducting running records, evaluating reading levels, and creating your own differentiated instructional groupsDelivering 1:1 and small-group coaching sessions that use school currency, leaderboards, and personal rapport to motivate stretch goals in adaptive applicationsMonitoring real-time student performance in adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction as the data shiftsWhat You Won't Be DoingDelivering lectures to a full classroom.
