Operating high-utilization, modern flight training fleets, their regional maintenance centers keep aircraft flying safely, reliably, and efficiently.We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead shop operations in Georgetown, TX . Reporting directly to leadership, this role bridges technical maintenance, regulatory compliance, team management, and supply chain control in a fast-paced aviation environment. If you are an experienced A&P leader who thrives in general aviation, makes confident airworthiness decisions, and excels at building strong teams, this is the ideal opportunity to elevate your career.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Maintenance & Supervision: Perform and directly supervise all routine servicing, scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, 100-hour/annual inspections, and returns to service for general aviation aircraft in strict accordance with FAA regulations (FARs) and company procedures.Team Leadership & Training: Lead, mentor, and ensure proper training of maintenance personnel across technical procedures, level-specific servicing, and general shop safety practices (including firefighting equipment readiness).Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Work directly with the Director of Maintenance to maintain 100% regulatory compliance. Oversee periodic safety equipment checks and enforce clean, organized, and compliant hangar environments.Tooling & Inventory Management: Maintain a tightly managed supply of approved spare parts on station to minimize aircraft downtime without stockpiling. Ensure all technical data is current and shop tooling/equipment is calibrated and in proper working order.Requirements & QualificationsMandatory RequirementsLicensure: Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate in good standingGeneral Aviation Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent hands-on General Aviation (GA) maintenance experience within the last 10 years, utilizing your A&P license post-graduation, with specific experience on single-engine piston aircraft.Fleet Familiarity: Demonstrated hands-on experience working with piston aircraft platforms such as Cessna 172/152, Piper Archer/Cherokee/Seminole, Diamond DA40/DA42, or Cirrus SR22.Tools: Possession of a standard basic set of hand tools for GA servicing.Two years of prior supervisory , lead mechanic, or Maintenance Manager experience in a GA environment.Preferred QualificationsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and written/oral communication skills.Innovative self-starter who works well under minimal supervision and adapts quickly to changing operational priorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
