Must also provide prompt, accurate, and efficient processing of all parts transactions and related warehouse activities. This requires working independently, with specific direction or as a member of a team. To be monitored by management observation and stock order analysis reports, as well as daily and year end physical inventoriesMaintains parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards, so that they are neat and orderly as assessed by the department managerDevelops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined by performance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRA'sCompletes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return communicates job status to supervisor as neededLearns how to place 3rd party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA systemPerforms housekeeping duties while adhering to contamination control guidelinesWorks overtime as required by workloadRequires regular and punctual employee attendancePerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines to include order pulling, job related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and proceduresGeneral knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenanceKnowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardwareOperation and control skills of equipment or systemsEquipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a jobAbility to follow logical troubleshooting proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead craneAbility to operate a conventional forkliftAbility to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positionsAbility to be self-starting and self-motivatedGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read, write, and understand informationAbility to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesRequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredUp to two years of experienceMust complete HOLT VBL and DiSC trainingSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneTravelUp to 10% travel may be required & may require overnight staysAbility to travel between stores within region for special projects and/or company needsPhysical RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
