Materials HandlerReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Materials Handler plays an important role in Goodkind's production cycle. They are responsible for the organization and distribution of materials and componentry in accordance with established processes and procedures, maintaining accurate inventory levels and records, and supporting other manufacturing activities as needed.About Us Founded in 2010 and based in the Austin area, Goodkind is a leading manufacturer of clean and green personal care and beauty products. Goodkind believes by following this central multi-stakeholder approach, we are creating optimal value for each stakeholder while leaving the world a better place.What You'll DoPull materials for daily production activity and distribute to the appropriate recipientOrganize and maintain storage areas in warehousePerform housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety in the warehouseCheck out components and materials to the Production Team based on requests/schedule.Responsible for working with other Materials Handlers on pallet rack placement and cataloging material/components back into inventory.Inspect the levels of components/labels, and raw materials to identify shortagesPerform and report cycle counts to Inventory Specialist as neededOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales and other equipment as neededComply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelinesCollaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are metFollow process closely to be sure that all information pertinent to inventory control is accurately recordedAssist with all warehouse tasks at both warehouse locationsTransport materials between warehouse locations in company's box truckAdditional duties as assigned
